Neville and his wife June leased the laundromat and hire service linen and T.V. etc. June looked after the shop while Neville worked at putting down moorings for power boats and yachts to tie up to when on their holidays. He also did all the repairs to them if damaged. Neville was also explosive expert for the Rottnest Board, blowing up reefs that were a danger to shipping and also did survey work for other coastal shires.
