    Mrs. T. Donohoe.

Profound sorrow spread throughout the Kellerberrin district, says the Eastern Recorder, on Sunday when the sad news became known that Mrs. Donohoe, wife of Mr. T. Donohoe, postmaster, had passed away under painfully sudden circumstances, shortly after 1 o'clock that afternoon. The deceased lady had not been in good for some weeks past, but nothing very serious was thought to be the matter and so well did she appear during the previous week that on Wednesday Mrs. Pressice (sister), who had been looking after her, left for home. Shortly after having partaken dinner on Sunday, however, Mrs. Donohoe complained of feeling unwell and expired peacefully a few hours afterwards the cause of death being heart failure.

To enable relatives to be present, the funeral did not take place until Tuesday. The remains were removed on Monday afternoon to the Catholic Church, where a prayer service for the dead was held. At 10 o'clock the following morning the funeral moved off from the Church to the Catholic portion of the cemetery, where the Rev. Father H. O'Reily conducted an impressive burial service. The chief mourners were Mr. Donohoe (husband), Miss Eileen Donohoe and two other infant daughters. Masters Hugh and Eric Donohoe (sons), Mrs. Irene Pressdee (sister) and Mr. Pressdee (brotherin-law). The funeral was one of the largest that had taken place in Kellerberrin. Among those present were Mr. Millbank (Inspector of Post and Telegraphs). Mr. F. Wise (postmaster at Merridin) and Mr. Colls (relieving postmaster at Kellerberrin).

The late Mrs. Donohoe was only 29 years of age, having been born at Bundaberg (Queensland) in 1889, and was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Rowe. During her residence here she made many friends and was very popular, her bright and kindly nature winning the respect of every one.

Much sympathy will felt for Mr. Donohoe and family, who, with the late Mrs. Donohoe, resided in Busselton for some time.
